Q
What is the Viking Protection RV Roadside Assistance Plan?
AThe Viking Protection RV Roadside Assistance Plan is a program that keeps RVs and family vehicles protected in the case of roadside breakdowns. This plan is administrated though Road America and has a network of over 30,000 thoroughly screened, insured, and licensed service providers to help you in your time of need. The program was specifically built for RVers, meaning you’ll never have to worry that the tow truck sent to your aid will not be able to tow your rig.

The program doesn’t end at RV towing, however! For specific coverage information, please click here.

Q
Is there a limit to that amount of towing this RV Roadside Assistance will pay for?
A The Viking Protection RV Roadside Assistance plan offers unlimited towing to the nearest repair provider, so you won’t have to worry about mileage caps or limitations.
Q
What are your business hours?
A The Viking Protection RV Roadside Assistance plan is available to you 24/7, 365 per year! This emergency RV Roadside plan will be there for you when you need it most, any time, day or night.
Q
How is The Viking Protection RV Roadside Assistance Plan different than other roadside assistance programs?
A The Viking Protection RV Roadside Assistance plan sets itself apart from the competition because it was designed for the active RVer. Most Towing and Repair centers simply do not have the correct equipment to help the average Rver in a time of need. However, the Viking Protection plan has access to Road America’s network of RV facilities, which are carefully selected and professionally screened. The service provider qualifications include:

    • Fully licensed and insured
    • 24-hour operations
    • Live operator assistance
    • Uniformed service personnel
    • Adequate training of service personnel
    • Adherence to promised ETAs
    • Well maintained service equipment
Q
Who is protected under the Viking Protection RV Roadside Assistance Plan?
AThe Viking Protection RV Roadside Assistance Plan not only covers you, the member, but also extends coverage to your spouse/domestic partner and dependent children* free of charge. Other roadside assistance providers may charge a fee per each additional driver.

*(Dependents are defined as children 25 and younger who still reside at home, or are actively enrolled in higher education).

Q
What do I do when my vehicle is disabled and in need of a roadside assistance?
A The Viking Protection RV Roadside Assistance will step in to help you during a roadside emergency. Simply follow three easy steps:

  1. Call our toll-free number included with Viking Protection RV Roadside Assistance contract and membership card.
  2. We will identify your location–please be prepared to provide the name of the road you are on, or the cross street–and ask you to describe your vehicle, including details like the make, model and color.
  3. Give us a quick description of your roadside emergency, and one of your helpful RV Roadside Assistance dispatchers will contact a repair facility to assist you with your specific issue!

Q
How do you choose a towing provider in my area?
AThe Viking Protection plan has access to over 30,000 service and repair facilities across the U.S. and Canada that provide top-rated towing and roadside services. We will choose a partner based on their proximity to your failure location and if they have the correct equipment to assist you. This is why choosing the right RV Roadside provider can save you from the worry and headaches of an already stressful RV breakdown.
Q
Will I be protected if I travel outside of the United States?
AYes! The Viking Protection RV Roadside Assistance Plan provides coverage throughout North America, including Alaska, Canada and Hawaii. You’re also covered in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Q
What are Trip Interruption Benefits and how do I use them?
ATrip Interruption Benefits are excellent coverages that are included in your RV Roadside Assistance Plan. These benefits are provided to you on a reimbursement plan, and help to cover the costs associated with experiencing and RV emergency, including commercial transportation, meals and lodging expenses, and car rental costs.

Q
As a member, do I have to pay for the service and then submit a receipt for reimbursement?
AAll RV Roadside Assistance benefits are paid directly to the provider, with the exception of emergency travel expense reimbursement. This means you will not have to pay out of pocket for towing, lockout service, fluid delivery, and more!
